Air Jordan (11) XI
The Air Jordan XI was released in 1995 and are the most famous and most popular model in the Air Jordan line. The shoe was designed by Tinker Hatfield while Jordan was still pursuing a career in baseball.
The shoe featured a shiny patent leather which gave it a “formal” look. This look was taken advantage of as owners would use teh shoe for both ball and ballroom purposes. An example of this is a Boyz II Men concert where the members wore the Air Jordan XI while they performed.
A colorway of the shoes were featured in the movie “Space Jam” which also featured Michael Jordan.
In 2000 the Jordan XIs were retrod and became the highest quantity and the fastest selling of the Air Jordan line.
